Why is being in alignment so important?

A lot of the time it’s our inaction, procrastination, and overwhelm that keeps us stuck and unhappy with our businesses.

There’s a buttload of practical advice and techniques out there and sure, they work to a degree but I still feel like I’m ‘forcing’ myself to do things. I resent them, I hit creative blocks, I get lost and muddled. I freeze and plateau. I get proper miserable and demotivated and my whole world suffers.

But when I dig a bit deeper, address what’s beneath the surface, check my inner critic and decipher what’s going on with my subconscious, it’s obvious.

A lot of people don’t need help with the practical stuff, they already know what they need to do, but something stops them from doing it. That barrier is real.

When you’re happy and aligned, that barrier disappears. When you’re actively working on your mindset, you can clearly see what’s stopping you from getting that next step nailed. When you remove limiting beliefs and subconscious blocks, your need for motivation disperses.

You know why?

Because when you feel good, you just get on and do what needs to get done. No friction, no resistance, no procrastination. You just do the things you need to do, and you do them willingly not begrudgingly. Confident people take action.

3 Ways to Switch into Alignment:

MEDITATE Nothing beats immersing yourself in a full blown meditation. If you struggle to stay still or simply be, get on YouTube and find a guided meditation to suit you. Focus and come back to your breath and the answers you need will come.

JOURNAL And journal only for you! People tend to journal as if someone is going to read it, well f*ck that – let it flow, stream of consciousness, and see what comes up. Chances are, you’ll hit something that inspires you or clarifies what you’re after.

BRAIN DUMP Brain dump everything you’re doing and what you want to achieve. What are the things that are making you feel stuck or frustrated? Where are you doing unnecessary stuff? Look at what you’re doing and why and cull where you can.
